Surprises!

So, ever since I was about eight years old (probably earlier), I distinctly remember loving Christmas for one particular reason. And, no, it was not opening presents (even then, I was too picky with gifts and figured I should save my allowance for things I wanted). It was the giving of gifts that was the happiest part of the holiday! As an adult with a job (thankfully), I have been able to extend this giving-of-surprises beyond Christmas. So, the best surprise yet was probably this past one. An 8-foot package on an arbitrary Tuesday, nowhere near a birthday or Christmas. The only problem is-- it didn't end up being an anonymous present, since my phone number was on the invoice. Regardless, sheer joy and I can't wait to do it again!
